You may then enter the interface by clicking the link below.

View the Maps

1. Map Format and the Viewer

This interface uses JMapView to display the maps in CGM format.

  • JmapView only requires that Java be installed on your computer which, in most cases, it already will be.
  • JMapView will run on both Windows and Mac operating systems and most internet browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Opera.
  • If you receive a message that Java is not installed then either follow the prompts to download it, or use the link below.
  • If you require further information about viewing the NRM Info maps, please contact Jason Batory jbatory@agric.wa.gov.au
Download Java

2. Optimise your screen resolution

The larger your screen resolution, the larger the map area will be. If you use a very small resolution, you will find that the map is difficult to see, and some of the toolbar buttons may not be visible. The optimal resolution is 1280 by 1024 pixels. However, this will make other things on your screen smaller, so you may wish to experiment with different resolutions.

You can change the resolution of your computer as follows:

Step 1

Right mouse click on the desktop, and select PROPERTIES from the pop-up menu.

Step 2

Select the SETTINGS tab and change the resolution in the Screen Area section by clicking and dragging the slide bar (see below).
