About SLIP

A Shared Land Information Platform (SLIP) has been established in Western Australia to provide ready access to a wide range of spatial (mapped) data and information products from State repositories. The SLIP provides access to spatial data through portals like this one, or directly through desktop GIS platforms via web services. The SLIP has been developed in a series focus areas: Natural Resource Management, Emergency Management, Interest Enquiry, an Electronic Land Development Process; and the Enabling Framework to support these focus areas.
